A wet bar does not travel well.
Wrap a bar in a washcloth and it is paste by the time you arrive. Leave it at home and you are back to whatever shampoo the hotel left out. Hotel shampoo is regular shampoo. It cleans your hair and does nothing about the bleach inside your roots.
This tin is brushed aluminum with a slotted insert. The bar sits on the slots and the water runs off underneath. It stays out of the puddle, the way it does on a dish at home.

Ritual on the road
Three steps, then let it dry.
- Wet your hair. Work the bar to a full lather.
- Massage your scalp. Leave it on for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Rinse well. Back on the insert, lid off, until dry.
If it must travel wet, tip the water out and open the tin as soon as you can.
